Friday of Burning Tires: Dozens of Palestinians Injured, Protesters Storm Rafah Border

For a second week, Palestinians are continuing their unarmed protest along the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip, as part of the Great March Return movement, with a total of at least 40 being injured, and one martyred.
In further details, after "Israeli" soldiers shot and wounded several dozens of the peaceful protesters, some of them stormed parts of the so-called ‘security' separation fence east of Rafah, south of Gaza Strip.
Relatively, the Zionist media reported that the "Israeli" occupation army is losing control over protesters due to the difficult circumstances happening on the Gaza border.
This Friday marks the eighth day since the beginning of the Great March Return protests and sit-in that started on March 30, coinciding with the 42nd anniversary of Palestine's Land Day.
For the second consecutive week, Palestinians from different provinces have been flocking to the border areas surrounding the Gaza Strip, and protesting off the borders of the "Israeli"-occupied Palestinian lands in show of their right to return to their ancestor's houses and farms that were stolen by the occupation since the year 1948.
Relatively, young Ahmad Abu al-Hassani was martyred after he succumbed to the wounds he sustained since last Friday's march.
In addition to at least 40 Palestinian protesters injured, a Palestinian journalist identified as Yasser Mortaja was shot in his stomach east of Khan Yunis, south Gaza.
Friday's confrontations are yet another episode of the continued "Israeli" violence against Palestinian landowners.
