Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said Friday that Iranians high turnout in Revolution anniversary rallies across the country is "a show of national power with a specific message in respond to wrong statements of the White House leaders."

The Iranian President made the remarks while attending a huge rally in the Iranian capital which was held to mark the 38th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

He said millions of Iranians came to the streets to give a clear response to the White House officials which is they would not abandon their revolution and aspirations of the late Imam Khomeini and the Islamic leadership.

President Rouhani later addressed the crowd of demonstrators at Tehran's Azadi Square, where he slammed "the tyrannical pressure of ill-wishers" over the Islamic Republic in the post-Revolution era.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the millions-strong marches underway across the country are a response to "untrue remarks" by the new authorities in the White House, saying bullying powers will regret threatening the great Iranian nation.

He further said that the Islamic Revolution "freed Iran from foreign dependency and made it up to the people to decide their own fate."

The President pointed to the achievements in Iran saying that nuclear enrichment "is a natural right and it has been acknowledged internationally," adding that Iranian non-oil exports outmatched the imports of the same sort and "this matter is a source of pride" for Iran.

Elsewhere in his remarks, President Rouhani said, "We had been able to restore 1.7 billion $ from our assets frozen by the US in its banks."

Rouhani went on to say, "Some novice politicians in the US have to respect the Iranian nation and know how to deal with us."

The Iranian leader concluded that the Iranians "will strongly hold our grounds against any threat."

He was speaking to reporters on Friday morning during a large demonstration in Tehran marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
