A first remark the "incident" whose consequences will affect the progress of events in our region would bring up: the war in and on Syria, with its introduction of Russian aerial support, allowed Recep Teyyep Erdogan to achieve a remarkable win in the second parliamentary elections [within six months]...a victory he failed to grasp or achieve in the first elections.

Arab Wars in Vienna

It is clear that the most dangerous support he received was from Western Europe, announced by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who during her surprise visit to Ankara, expressed ultimate support for Erdogan through her political stance, coupled with effective financial support, turning a blind eye to the fact that his ruling party publicly represents the Muslim Brotherhood... foregoing any disapproval, particularly his approach to dealing with the Kurds, neglecting his role in facilitating "ISIS" movement in invading Iraq, and his presence in some parts of Syria, particularly at some border crossings, to and from Turkey.

Another remark is one related to the dangerous announcement the "eloquent" Saudi FM made, on the sidelines of the Vienna conference that was held in the name of Syria, despite its absence... which reveals that the Saudi military invasion of Yemen has nearly achieved its goals, and al-Jubeir spoke of a period of a number of weeks to accomplish this "great victory".

It is clear that the "eloquent" minister wouldn't have set a date for the military victory the richest of the world's royal families will achieve over the poorest of God's subjects in the "Happy Yemen," unless he supposes that Russia and Iran are busy confronting "ISIS", "al-Nusra" and their terrorist likes, which his country participates in arming and funding to protect Syria's unity, in state and people!! He took advantage of the closing of the Vienna conference, on Syria, attended by strong international players, along with some Arab oil countries, to embarrass other Arab countries mainly Egypt, Iraq and Lebanon, whose hold different opinions and stances regarding the wars on Syria and Yemen.

A third remark: There exists a clear [public] Arab-Oil wager boosted by some western [paid] stances to link the "settlement" in Yemen to one in Syria, despite the core difference in the nature of the participants in the war on Yemen [mainly the Saudis in the air, supported by combat units from some Gulf countries, with some additional Sudanese soldiers sent by their president to secure mutual support]. We've lately witnessed the funerals of some Emirati soldiers and officers who died in a war that does not concern them, against their Yemeni "fathers" [as the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan had repeatedly asserted.]

It is easy to deduce, therefore, that the war in and on Syria will reach its climax in terms of bloodiness and brutality in the few coming days so that the scene in the second international meeting in Vienna would hence be clear and decisive both militarily and politically, thereby adjusting the "discourse," and then the results whether they be in the form of recommendations or binding decisions.

It is also not difficult to conclude that "ISIS's" claiming responsibility for the downing of the Russian jet over al-Arish region in the Egyptian Sinai, 23 minutes after it took off from the nearby Sharm Sheikh Airport, assures the terrorist organization's desperate efforts to impose itself as a partner, with brute force, in the coming Vienna talks, namely in terms of the prospective political settlements regarding the war in and on Syria, not to mention the war in and on Iraq, which delays or rather hinders the possibility of resolution in the raging disputes and the critical corruption in both Baghdad and Irbil, which enable "ISIS" to amplify its role and impose it on the Vienna-2 agenda.

On the other hand, Russia, stricken with the plane casualties in Sinai, as well as with "ISIS's" claim of confronting it, will be more decisive amidst a sympathetic [humanitarian] atmosphere, regardless of "ISIS's" allegation. Those still lacking in faith will then believe that the dangers of this brutal organization are greater than they once believed, and will reach them all. If not today, then tomorrow... As for Syria [and Iraq], the war on "ISIS" must come first among practical stances and interests, and must be reflected as such on any proposed solutions.

It was funny how al-Jubeir was speaking, as though on behalf of a superpower, deciding the fates of other countries. It seemed as if he was speaking of "ISIS" and by extension "al-Qaeda", boasting his country's products: organizations armed with the Islamic banner, fighting tomorrow in favor of the yesterday towards which they tread.

Funnier still, is what the Lebanese FM said as he returned from Vienna, which he will revisit soon, in a statement from Bsharri, whereat he stressed the necessity to grant the expatriates citizenship, at a time when the locals are searching for, and even buying different citizenships.

Besides this "achievement" in Beirut, nothing is worth mentioning besides the garbage and nothing but, both in politics and in decision-making, since before and after it began piling on the streets.
