The UN atomic energy chief said Iran is implementing the interim nuclear deal it struck with the six world powers last year as planned, during his visit to Norway on Wednesday.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) plays an essential role in ensuring that Iran complies with the terms of the agreement, which Iran agreed to last November.
Under the deal, Tehran agreed to curb its nuclear program, in exchange for loosening the Western sanctions imposed on it.
On Tuesday, Iran and the six other countries began a new round of talks in Vienna in order to reach a comprehensive deal over Iran's nuclear program before the July 20 deadline.
