"Israeli" Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday that Tel Aviv needs to seek partners other than Washington, ratcheting up tensions with its closest ally as Iran nuclear talks come to a head.

Lieberman: Ties with US Deteriorating, Other Allies NeededThe hawkish, blunt-talking "Israeli" diplomat, who returned to office earlier this month after seeing off graft charges, spoke as major powers, including the United States, sought to seal a deal with Iran on its nuclear program.

"The link between "Israel" and its main strategic partner the United States has weakened," Lieberman said.
"You can understand that. The Americans have got too many challenges -- North Korea, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, and they've got their own domestic economic problems," Lieberman added.

He further stated: "We need to stop demanding, complaining, moaning and instead seek countries that are not dependent on money from the Arab or Islamic world and who want to cooperate with us in the field of innovation."
Thus, the "Israeli" FM advised the Zionist entity's government "to seek more allies with common interests."

Lieberman proposed to "understand others and not whine. We have to think on how we restore our reputation in the international arena. There has to be a clear concept. We have to find those countries that aren't looking for money, that don't need the Muslim world, but are looking for knowledge in technology, agriculture, hi-tech... The foreign policy should be diverse, looking for allies with a common goal. Enough whining and saying, 'they should come to us.'"
