A group of Zionist settlers stormed into al-Aqsa Holy Mosque through al-Magarebah Gate early Tuesday.

Protected by According to information, a group of around 40 settlers breached the sanctity of the Holy Mosque escorted by "Israeli" police officers.
The Zionists sought to commemorate the eve of "Israeli" Occupation to al-Quds city.
This comes as "Israeli" forces deployed by the main access gates to the mosque, denying all Muslim worshipers under 50 from praying.

Female students, who study at the compound, were also denied access to the mosque.

Witnesses further stated that clashes broke out between "Israeli" soldiers and Palestinian women trying to access the mosque, after soldiers verbally insulted the women and pushed them. One woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

Hours earlier, Al-Aqsa Foundation for Waqf and Heritage warned that Likud Beiteinu "Israeli" party affiliates announced their intention to storm al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday morning.

The Al-Aqsa compound, containing the mosque and the Dome of the Rock, is the third holiest site in Islam.
Meanwhile, a group of extremist settlers desecrated the historical Mosque of Sheikh Abu Samaan in Qalqiliya city and built a fake tomb inside it.
According to the Foundation, settlers spray-painted Hebrew slogans on the exterior walls of the Mosque and left candles they used for their rituals, warning that the settlers want to turn the Mosque into a synagogue.

It also said that such violation was part of the ongoing Zionist attempts to obliterate the Islamic holy sites and claim them as part of the fabricated Hebrew heritage in Palestine, stressing that the Mosque of Sheikh Samaan is a purely Islamic holy place.
