Iran: "Israel" Playing with Fire, to Pay Price for Attacking Syria

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi condemned the "Israeli" aggression on the Syrian territories, describing it as "playing with fire."
During a meeting with his Turkmenistan's counterpart Rashid Meredov, Salehi pointed out to the dangers of boosting extremism in the region, describing the terrorist groups as having no roots or any commitment to principles.
He further hoped that Iran, as Head of the Non-Aliened Movement, could find a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria through its consultations with Latin American countries.
For his part, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian stressed that "Israel" will pay the price for its aggression on Syria.
"The "Israeli" flagrant aggression came to compensate for the losses of the armed terrorist groups after the heavy strikes they received by the Syrian Arab Army," Abdullahian said during a meeting with Syrian Ambassador.
He further affirmed that the "Israeli" aggression on a number of sites in Syria boosts Iran's will in its full support to Syria in the face of the hostile plots against it.
In another meeting with Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra Diaz in Tehran on Monday, Abdullahian called on the international community to take firm action against it.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran is holding consultation and talks with regional and international sides in this regard to hold a broad meeting in Tehran in support of the Syrian people in the presence of regional and international countries and players, including Cuba," the Iranian official stated.
Abdullahian stressed the importance of holding consultation between Tehran and Havana about the "rapid and influential" developments in the Middle East and urged Cuba to play an active role given its revolutionary background and its anti-Zionism and anti-arrogance approaches.
He said the US and the "Israeli" regime seek to resolve their strategic woes by making efforts to inflict damage on Syria and the resistance axis and added that they even seek to spill over insecurity to Iraq.
