Lebanese Foreign Minister, Adnan Mansour urged the Arab League to restore Syria's revoked membership, calling on "to find a balanced political solution that ends Syria's war."
In a speech he delivered to the Arab Foreign Ministers on Wednesday, Mansour stated, "The Syrian crisis hurts us all; we are helpless to achieve a political solution through dialogue, and we showed the world that we have failed and all we succeeded in is suspending Syria's membership in the Arab League."
"Our responsibility to Allah, history, and our people is great," Mansour stressed, highlighting, "The number of Syrian migrants to Lebanon is beyond our abilities."
On another note, Mansour pointed out, ""Israel" continues to defy the 1701 resolution through violating Lebanon's sovereignty and planting espionage networks."
Following his speech, FM Mansour passed the session's presidency to his Egyptian counterpart Mohammad Kamel Amro.
