Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri warned Monday that the security situation in the country is very worrying, especially that that the exploding head of sedition emerges from all places.
In an interview with as-Safir Lebanese daily, Berri cautioned that "the Arab dust, which is called the Arab Spring, is gathering in the Lebanese sky."
"This threatens with a crazy storm that would bring the rain of chaos unless the Lebanese political sides, from various affiliations, act to face this imminent danger," he added.
In parallel, the Speaker advised all sides neither to discuss the elections nor the electoral law with him at the current time: "In this stage, the priority is for the security."
"There should remain a country to hold the elections. However, unfortunately all are thinking of elections and they price anything based on this concern," Berri stressed.
Meanwhile, he cautioned that the security incidents harm the country's image and prestige.
"The treatment of some security phenomena turned to a cat and mouse chase, while the accuracy of the situation requires firmness," the Speaker said.
