Lebanese military sources revealed Thursday that "what felt between Yantat and Wadi Ashayer region is due to an is an anti-aircraft Sam missile, apparently fired from inside the Syrian territory."
In an interview with al-Akhbar Lebanese daily, a Lebanese security official stated that "Syrian officials informed him that the Syrian Army dropped two "Israeli" spying drones that tried to infiltrate into the Syrian airspace."
"The two drones tried to violate the Syrian airspace from the East Lebanese mountain, particularly from Yantat and Wadi Ashayer," he said, and noted that "the wreckage of the two drones felt on the Lebanese side."
Meanwhile, residents of the region told al-Akhbar that "something fell on the Yantat and Wadi Ashayer region."
They also spoke of hearing a loud explosion about one o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
This comes as the ""Israeli" enemy intensified its heavy over-flights' breaches, particularly over the western Bekaa and Rashaya.
