In details, the LA managed to arrest an "Israeli" agent, who has been working for the Mossad since twenty-three years.
According to security sources the agent's name is R. A. Y. from Baalbek, and he works as both a member of the city's municipality council and an employee in the Lebanese Work Ministry.
Meanwhile, as-Safir Lebanese daily revealed that the man admitted his collaboration with the "Israeli" enemy. It also mentioned that Y. visited the Occupied Palestinian territories and Tel Aviv, as he traveled to several states to meet with his employers. Moreover, he underwent several sessions with the Mossad, including how to use the secret ink, as well as some equipment. The security sources further pointed out that "Israeli" agent effectively serviced the enemy during its July 2006 aggression on Lebanon.  In parallel, he admitted that he provided the enemy with a lot of information about the resistance, the army, names of Hizbullah and Amal Movement officials, as well as information about the communications network belonging to the resistance. In recognition of his services and important role, the occupation authorities honored Y.

On another level, security sources described the mentioned agent as "the most expensive" among all "Israeli" agents, who had been arrested. He received 600 thousand $ for his services.

It is worth mentioning that the "Israeli" agent was referred to military courts, where the investigating judge Imad Zein issued a memorandum to arrest Y. based on judicial rules that might carry the death penalty.
