Jamil as-Sayyed Delivers Oqab Saqr Recordings to State Prosecutor

Former head of the Lebanese General Security Directorate General Jamil as-Sayyed's Media Office stated, "[General Jamil as-Sayyed] deposited at the State Prosecutor Hatem Madi an original CD copy of four recent phone calls between member of the Future Bloc MP Oqab Saqr and armed groups in Syria."
The statement mentioned that General as-Sayyed had handed over the CDs so that "legal measures the Prosecution sees fit be taken," especially with the undergoing investigation of the lawsuit former Prime Minister Saad Hariri and MP Saqr filed against al-Akhbar daily and OTV news station.
The PM and MP's charges accuse both media outlets of manipulating the phone call recordings between Saqr and armed terrorist groups in Syria that show him providing these groups with ammunition and weaponry.
MP Saqr later held a press conference after the release of these recordings where he claimed that the calls were about delivering milk and quilts to Syrians and negotiating the groups to release the Lebanese abducted in Syria.
In this context, as-Sayyed clarified that he had received the recordings "from the Syrian researcher and media man Rafiq Lotof who had broadcasted the recordings a week ago through the Syrian satellite station."
The recordings, as-Sayyed mentioned, included MP Saqr clearly delivering money to the armed groups, calling for unifying their lines and ceasing dispersion, and providing them with high-tech InmerSat devices.
Moreover, as-Sayyed highlighted, "these calls show MP Saqr's commitment to deliver high-tech equipment in fighting the Syrian regime forces."
Also, the calls showed Saqr calling the so-called Free Syrian Army forces for assigning a spokesperson to deny having any involvement in the Aleppo bombings, claiming tens of civilians' lives, in which a FSA official claimed responsibility of himself.
Furthermore, a call between MP Saqr and an official of the armed groups exposed that Saqr was clarifying about "unknown" commodities he had sent but had not yet arrived, although none of the calls had indicated in the least that MP Oqab Saqr was delivering milk and quilts to Syrians in name of the former PM Saad Hariri.
