Syrian Ambassador to Lebanon: Keen on Resolving Refugees Issue

Syrian ambassador to Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim Ali stressed Thursday that his country is keen on resolving the Syrian refugees issues based on humanitarian aspects.

In an interview with as-Safir Lebanese newspaper, Ali highlighted the need to keep this issue away from any political intercalation, especially in light of the sharp Lebanese division regarding the developments in Syria.

"The most important effort that could be exerted to aid the displaced refugees lies in ending the incitement, funding and arming carried out by some countries and foreign intelligence agencies," he said.
In parallel, the Syrian ambassador urged all sides to refrain from finding an incubating environment for extremism.

"Then the crisis of the refugees will end automatically after solving its causes not only its results," Ali mentioned, as he called some foreign actors not to kill the Syrians and to send them aid at the same time.
