Saqr’s Farce: Lebanese Prosecution Received Nothing, He Swapped Al-Akhbar

An-Nahar Lebanese daily revealed Friday that the Lebanese General Prosecution hadn't received any copies of Future MP Okab Saqr's alleged recordings.
Judicial sources told the daily that General Prosecutor Hatem Madi received nothing from the three-part series of the recordings that Saqr played Thursday.
In his press conference of insults in Turkey, Saqr claimed that the previously broadcasted sound recordings were doctored.
He further stated that he sent the real sound recordings to Judge Madi, whose sources denied receiving anything from the mentioned MP.
For its part, al-Akhbar daily unveiled in its Friday edition that Saqr continued to send offers until Wednesday night in which he proposed the end of the newspapers' recordings in return for large sums of money.
It further wondered why Saqr waited for a complete week before uncovering his version of recordings and holding the press conference of bawdry. "Why didn't he respond directly, if things were ready?" it asked.
In this context, the newspaper viewed that "during the time interval between its recordings and Saqr's party of curses and yelling, there is enough time to turn arms into babies' milk, and missiles to blankets..."
According to al-Akhbar, the MP had no reason but to get assured-from his friends- of the content of the other recordings that the daily possesses, particularly those related to the role of Bandar bin Sultan and Saad al-Hariri.
The daily further mentioned that "Saqr took his time to add audio clips to the original recordings."
"Any beginning sound engineer can show the difference between Saqr's recordings and the original ones," it added, and concluded by questioning:
"Why did Saqr refrain from debating the content of the recordings and restored to screaming, cursing, and accusing others of characters that he owns?"
