Berri Meets March 14 MPs: For Dialogue and Calmness Over Escalations

Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri expressed concern during the Wednesday Parliamentary meet of the "extremist and radical climate that has prevailed in Lebanon and the region."
He reiterated the "necessity of dialogue and calmness to overcome escalation which would only make matters worse."
Moreover, Berri called for being aware "not to be dragged into escalation and provocative stances," accentuating "everybody's wisdom in overcoming this difficult phase."
Berri had met, in the framework of "The Wednesday Meet", the MPs: Abbas Hashem, Ali Bazzi, Ali Ammar, Ali Khreis, Hani Kobeissi, Hassan Fadlallah, Ayoub Hmayed, Abdelmajid Saleh, Nawwar Saheli, Ghazi Zeaiter, Ali Mokdad, Ali Fayyad, Yassine Jaber, Walid Sukkarieh, Naji Gharios, Qassem Hashem, and Emile Rahme.
Also, a March 14 delegation visited Berri that included MPs: Samir Jisr, Marwan Hamedeh, Elie Marouni, and Joseph Maalouf.
On another note, the Parliamentary Speaker had received a letter from the Palestinian Minister of Justice Dr. Mazin Haniye explaining the "barbaric aggression recently made by "Israeli" occupying forces," reiterating, "The Palestinians hold on to the choice of resistance until their legitimate and just rights are granted and all the occupied territories are liberated."
