Mansour to Head AL Meeting on Gaza
Local Editor
Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour will head Saturday the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers, which will take place in Cairo, to discuss the "Israeli" aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza.
In this context, diplomatic sources informed "Future" Lebanese newspaper that "intense Arab consultations are taking place to emerge with a united Arab position."
This comes after the Arab FMs failed to reach a draft until Friday. Meanwhile, consultations will continue in the coming hours ahead of the Arab League meeting.
Mansour is accompanied by Ambassador Ali al-Halabi, Director of his Office Wassim Wehbe, and Chancellor Ryan Said.
The delegation will be joined by the Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the Arab League, Ambassador Khaled Ziade.
