Wahhab: Who Thinks Syria Regime to Fall Illiterate
Local Editor
The leader of the Arab Tawhid Movement Wiam Wahhab predicted on Monday that "change was coming to Lebanon."
During a meeting with youths from the Lebanese Mountain, Wahhab stated: "Change in Lebanon is inevitable, and 70 % of the current Lebanese political class will no longer exist in the coming years."
"As people's awareness is increasing, they will punish and hold this political class accountable for its mistakes," he said.
On the Syrian front, the former minister said: "He, who thinks that the Syrian regime will be toppled, is illiterate and fiddled in his information."
"Things are moving towards compromise," he said, and noted that "this wide axis that encompasses Syria, Russia, China, Iran and the resistance will prevent the fall of the Syrian regime."
In parallel, Wahhab reiterated "that the Druze in Syria, like all members of the Syrian people, will confront once threatened."
"We will inevitably support them even though it cost us to sell our homes to arm them, knowing that the Syrian Army is capable of protecting them," he mentioned.
