The Head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun stressed Saturday that "martyrdom is a culture of life in face of the degeneration phenomenon that our community is suffering."

Aoun: Resistance Decision Firm, Al-Assad to Win Syria’s Battle In an interview with al-Nour Radio station, Aoun hailed Lebanon's martyrs as he confirmed that "the resistance's decision is firm and not to be changed."
"The salvation track is difficult and we are determined to confront in Lebanon," he added.

On the internal level, the MP highlighted: "The current government enjoys a broader representation than that of former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora."
"This government will continue despite all pressures," Aoun emphasized, and wondered: "They [March 14] refuse to sit with us at the dialogue table, how can we reach a new government?"

He further unveiled that "the West advised "March 14" not to go too far in their attempt to topple the government."
On the proposal to form a miniature government, Aoun stated: "We must agree on the minimum level of principles before the formation of any government."

In parallel, he expressed great appreciation to Prime Minister Najib Mikati. "Mikati has the right to take the decisions he is taking for he has no energy to take other positions," he said.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese leader warned that any imbalance within the government affects the country's stability. However, he mentioned that "the side that can hit Lebanon's stability doesn't want to do so."

In response to a question about the possibility of an explosion at the Lebanese internal arena, Aoun said: "There is only one political explosion that shook March 14 body."

Moving to the regional front, Aoun stressed "Syria is to win as it is not alone and the West really fears the extremists."

"Syria President Bashar al-Assad will remain with applying reforms," he assured.
Concerning the "Israeli" request from Christians in Palestine to join the "Israeli" military service, Aoun said: "They seek to convert the holy places to tourist facilities."

As he described the "Israeli" acts as dangerous, he cautioned that they seek to strike the features of both the Islamic and the Christian features.
