In response to the offensive movie against the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), an Iranian documentary will be broadcasted across 50 networks.
This comes as the producer of the profane US-backed movie, Mark Basseley, Youssef, was sentenced to a year in jail.
In details, the Iranian documentary "The Prophet" will come out in English, Persian, and Arabic.
"The Prophet" is a joint production of the Society of Dialogue between Islam and Christianity and the Association of Islamic TV and Radio Channels, and will be broadcasted across 50 satellite networks.
Al-Manar, Sahar TV , al-Mayadeen and Samen TVs are among those channels and satellite networks to broadcast the Iranian documentary, IRNA said.
It further revealed that "The Prophet" was filmed in a number of countries including Australia, Iran, India, Armenia, Vatican City, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
On another note, the American producer of the insulting movie was sentenced on Wednesday to a year in prison on charges of violation of probation.
The charges included using aliases, fraudulently obtaining a California driver's license under an assumed name and lying to probation officers by falsely claiming his only involvement with the anti-Islam film was as a script writer.
Youssef was also sentenced to four years of supervised release once he finishes his year in jail.
