Freed Itani: Syrian Revolution in Real Danger

Six days on his abduction by the Syrian rebels, the Lebanese journalist Fidaa Itani returned to Beirut through Turkey's Istanbul.
On Beirut International Airport, Itani was welcomed by Information Minister Walid Daouq, his brother Hosam, daughter Farah, and a crowd of the journalists' colleagues and family members.
Upon his arrival, Itani clarified that he was imprisoned for six days. He further reminded of nine Lebanese who are still kidnapped by the Syrian rebels.
"Something serious should be done, not only on the official level but all levels to secure the release of these Lebanese, who had been kidnapped or at least imprisoned for several months," he said.
Itani, a supporter of the so-called "Syrian revolution", warned that "This revolution is in danger."
"As a witness to the Arab revolutions, and as a supporter to people's movements, in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and particularly the one in Syria, I warn that the Syrian "revolution" has witnessed an unsatisfactory development," he said.
"The Syrian "revolution" is in real danger," he warned.
Moreover, the Lebanese journalist denied to know anything about the 9 kidnaped Lebanese.
"We will tackle the issue of Abu Ibrahim[the kidnapper], whether alive or dead, later," Itani stated.
