Sheikh Qabalan Congratulates Muslims on Eid, Hopes For a Lasting Truce in Syria

Vice-President of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council Sheikh Abdel Amir Qabalan, urged Muslims "to unite, in the name of Almighty God, to fight the forces of evil."
In his speech Friday on the occasion of al-Adha feast, he cautioned Muslims to stay away from discord and plots rendering them vulnerable.
Sheikh Qabalan hoped that a lasting truce would bring the Syrian people together, and censured the difficult times Syria is experiencing.
