In Photos: Future Militia Spreads Fear in Tripoli, Displays Arms

Once again it's Tripoli: The bloody incidents in the capital of the North reflect a bitter reality. The city is open to all possibilities and is away from any serious political and security control that might reserve the minimum level of stability.
Along Monday, the Lebanese Army responded firmly on the fire sources after the renewed clashes between Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen as well as the surroundings of al-Rifa in Tripoli's Qubba.
This came as the sound of bullets, medium weapons and RPGs as well as the roaming of Future armed groups slammed any possibility of calm spreading.
Meanwhile, security sources confirmed to al-Intiqad that the Lebanese army raided a number of clashes lines, especially in al-Rifa and Bakar. The LA arrested a number of militants, some of whom are Arab nationals.
In parallel, the LA stepped up its patrols in the city in an attempt to control lawlessness. Later, the LA succeeded in spreading calm and preventing clashes that led to the death of 7 citizens and wounding dozens others.
For his part, Youth and Sports Minister Faisal Karami, revealed to "al-Intiqad" that "the LA launched a serious deployment to prevent the armed presence between Bab al-Tebbaneh and Jabal Mohsen."
He further confirmed "the necessity of political crucial decisions to prevent dragging the country to the unknown."
Moreover, Karami highlighted "Tripoli waits the Eid period, so let us not waste it."
However, Future MP Moein Merebi continued -with his supporters- to erect protest tents outside the house of Prime Minister Najib Mikati in Tripoli.
This move was denounced by the Islamic Group in the city, which rejected the attacks against the premiership post.
For his part, Future MP Mohammed Kabbara refused the group's position although he had stressed that Tripoli's security is still a red line ..
Amid all this, well-informed sources assured to "al-Intiqad" that the Future sit-in was buried in its place, especially that the participation was limited to Merebi's supporters from Akkar.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Unification Movement leadership continued receiving condolences in the martyrdom of Sheikh Abdul Razzaq al-Asmar, who died during the attack by gunmen on the movement's office.
