Al-Intiqad website reported Tuesday that 250 to 300 Syrian militants escaped from the Syrian Numan region to Lebanese al-Qaa Lebanese towns.

According to information, the armed men fled into Lebanon through Mashareeh al-Qaa after the Syrian Army succeeded in scoring decisive military achievements since the beginning of the military operation in Qusair, Homs province.
"The armed militants are led by a leader called Mustafa Saleh Amer," al-Intiqad learned.

For its part, the National News Agency highlighted that "the Lebanese Army beefed up its presence along the borders with Syria."

Meanwhile, the Syrian News Agency highlighted that "a unity of Syrian Armed forces foiled the attempt of number of terrorists who tried to infiltrate from the Lebanese territories to Syria at Khirbet al-Naimat in Homs' al-Qusair area ."
