Informed Lebanese sources revealed Wednesday that there are Lebanese and regional sides that entered on the line of negotiations with the kidnappers of the 10 Lebanese hostages in Syria to hamper them.

According to "al-Akhbar" Lebanese newspaper "these sides are trying to block any effort that might lead to a happy ending in the case."
"There aim is to prevent any Lebanese political part from recording any success on this level," the daily mentioned.

In remarks to the paper, informed sources expressed pessimism of the possibility that the envoy to Turkey Sheikh Salem al-Rafii would achieve any breach.

"There are Lebanese parties, on top of which is the Future movement, that seek to prevent the government of Prime Minister Najib Mikati to succeed on this level," the sources clarified and pointed out that " they are ready to block any way out of the case unless it was under its supervision."
Moreover, the sources named MP Okab Sakr as being at the head of the Future blocking. Sources close to Sheikh al-Rafii confirmed these information without mentioning names.

They told "al-Akhbar" that several Tripoli Sheikhs have recently condensed their internal and external efforts to abort al-Rafii's mission.
The same sources expressed concern that the existence of an internal conflict in Lebanon would impede the task of al-Rafii in Turkey.

The sources further warned that there is an intersection between internal and regional efforts to keep the abductees' issue outstanding.
