Clashes In Tripoli, Several Killed, Injured including Soldiers

Two people were killed and around 36 others were injured, including Lebanese army troops, in clashes between the neighborhoods of Jabal Mohsen and Bab al-Tabbaneh in north Lebanon. The clashes had erupted Monday afternoon and renewed on Tuesday.
Media reports said that several people were injured in clashes that took place after cautious calm prevailed at dawn Tuesday.
According to the National News Agency, residents were trapped in their houses in the areas of Syria street, al-Nasseri mosque and in Mallouleh near the highway that links Tripoli to the district of Akkar.
