Hizbullah Deplores Explosions Targeting Iraqi Cities
Hizbullah deplored the series of explosions that targeted several Iraqi cities on Monday and led to the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of civilians. Commenting on the deadly incident, Hizbullah issued the following statement:
The different Iraqi cities witnessed a series of heinous explosions, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians, in what seems to be the bloodiest attack during the past two years.
These criminal attacks interpret the bloodiness of certain terrorist armed groups, and satisfy the desire of the enemies of the Islamic nation of horrifying the citizens, killing the innocent, spreading strife and sectarian division and demolishing the Iraqi state's establishments.
Foreign intelligence foot prints are blatantly present at the Iraqi scene, as it backs the terrorist groups in committing crimes and impede the restoration of a healthy and safe Iraq post the US troops' withdrawal.
The sequence of terrorist acts targets Iraq and its people, and hampers any constructive attempts in rebuilding Iraq. This takes place as the United Nations and its Secretary General [Ban Ki-Moon], the international organizations, human rights organizations, and the Arab league set blind eyes to the blood-stained events taking place there.
Hence, Hizbullah deplores these terrible crimes, and hopes the concerned leaderships will opt for self-restraint in a bid to annihilate strife-ridden schemes and spread awareness to limit blasphemy that only serves the enemies of the nation.
Hizbullah further wishes the injured soon recovery and prays the martyrs rest in peace and condoles their families.
