Republicans to Follow Bush Economic Program “Just Updated”
In an interview last week on the Fernando Espuelas Show, Alexandra Franceschi, the Republican National Committee's Specialty Media Press Secretary, stated that the Republican Party's "economic platform" in 2012 will be the same as that of the George W. Bush's administration, only it would be updated.
While talking about the economic issue, host Espuelas asked Franceschi about the meaning of the economic security enrolled in the programs, and about the idea given by the Republican Party in this regard.
Franceschi claimed on this level, "It's a message of being able to attain the American dream. It's less government spending, which a Terrance Group poll, came out last week actually, show that the majority of Hispanics believe that less government spending is the way out of this deficit crisis [...]."
Highlighting her explanation, the show's host asked, "How different is that concept from what were the policies of the Bush administration? [...] Is this a different program or is this that program just updated?"
Whether a slip of her tongue or on purpose, the Republican Media Press Secretary stated, "I think it's that program, just updated."
Also on the economic level, which happens to control the politics of the world, it seems that the Republican Party can't live without implementing the rules of its fathers, and therefore puts into practice the economic platform that was rejected by the Americans during the Bush years.
