Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Wednesday that the venue for fresh talks between Iran and the P5+1 will be set in the next few days.
Salehi: Nuclear Talks on April 13
"The talks between Iran and the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany are expected to take place on April 13," Salehi announced.
On the sidelines of the welcoming ceremony of Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Salehi noted that "Istanbul has already voiced its readiness for hosting the talks."

Referring to Erdogan's visit to Iran and the existing friendly relations between Tehran and Ankara, Salehi said "the two sides are to discuss not only nuclear issues, but also bilateral cooperation."

"During the Turkish PM's stay, further expansion of bilateral economic relations will be reviewed by the Iranian officials and members of the Turkish visiting delegation," the Iranian foreign minister stressed.

A Brussels-based diplomat also told Reuters that April 13 was the likely date.

The last meeting between Iran and the representatives of the US, Russia, France, Germany, Britain and China, in Istanbul in January 2011, failed to even agree an agenda.
