’’Israel’’, US Boycott Durban Conference Criticizing Zionist Racism
As in previous years, "Israel", the US and 11 Western countries did not take part in Durban III conference as "Israel" was greatly criticized of racism.
Durban is a one-day meeting, and its theme is "victims of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance: recognition, justice and development."
Participants at the conference voted on a political statement affirming the declarations of the original Durban forum in which Palestinians were described as victims of racism.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi listed the human rights violations perpetrated by the Zionist regime against the Palestinians.
The US announced that it would boycott the conference three months ago in the pretext that a series of anti-"Israeli" and anti-Semitic resolutions had been adopted at its gatherings.
