US Concerned About Deteriorating “Israeli”-Turkish Relations
US Department of State spokesperson Victoria Noland stated on Tuesday that her country is concerned about the deteriorating relations between the "Israeli" entity and Turkey, the Arabs48 news website stated.
In a press release, Noland stated that Washington has been involved in efforts to boost its ties with its allies, International Middle East Media Center reported.
Noland claimed that the US believes that restoring good ties between "Israel" and Turkey serves the interests of both, and would serve the national interests of the US.
"We are acting on the issue. The US wants these ties to be as strong as they were before the crises between the two countries", US Department of State spokesperson affirmed.
Furthermore, the US is seeking ways through which it would calm the situation between the "Israeli" enemy and Turkey; however it is also concerned about the Turkish supporting position regarding the Palestinian bid for statehood in September.
