Following the day commemorating the Palestinian Nakba, Palestinians inside the Occupied Palestinian Territories as well as the Diaspora declared the days to follow as days of mourning.
In Lebanon, Paletinians have declared the 16th of May as a day of mourning for those who were martyred when "Israeli" troops opened fire on peaceful protesters marking the Nakba day in Maroun Al Ras near the borders.

Funerals will be held on Monday in Palestinian refugee camps in southern Lebanon, sources reported on Monday. The camps include Al Bass, Burj Al Shemali, Mieh Mieh and Ain Al Hilweh.

Meanwhile, in the Occupied Palestine, the government declared a three-day mourning on the souls of the martyrs who fell reiterating the Palestinians' Right to Return.
