Palestinian Islamic-Christian Committee Warns of “Israeli” Settlement Plan in Occupied East Al Quds

Islamic-Christian Committee for Defending Jerusalem and the Holy Sites, warned on Sunday of the new "Israeli" plan to build 386 housing units for Zionist settlers in the occupied East Al Quds (Jerusalem).

The committee issued a press release in which it stated that "Israel" is planning a serious violation against the Palestinian people and their home in the sacred area, and it also plans to foil the recent Palestinian reconciliation agreements.

The Islamic-Christian Committee Secretary General Hassan Khater said that the alleged "Israeli" Regional Constriction and Planning Committee has already approved the new construction plans, and will start evacuating all Palestinians from those lands.

In this context, Khater further added that this Zionist plan, as many others like it, aims at reducing the Arab presence in eastern Al Quds (Jerusalem) and the rest of the West Bank.

Islamic-Christian Committee Secretary General indicated that the Zionist enemy wants to displace all Arab residents in the city, and therefore control their lands and use for construction activities.
