Davutoglu: We Will Not Wait to Eternity for An “Israeli” Answer
And there we go again, more Turkish-"Israeli" stances over the recent brutal "Israeli" attack on Freedom Flotilla aid convoy to Gaza.
Since the bloody Monday of the 31st of May, Turkey's position regarding "Israel" has speeded backwards intensely, not making it possible for their relations to remain perfect, or in this case-at least-good.
As "Israel" tries hard to regain the Turkish relations, the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu was quoted Monday saying, "Turkey will sever diplomatic ties with "Israel" unless it apologizes over the commando raid on Freedom Flotilla".
In an interview with Turkey's Hurriyet newspaper, Davutoglu stressed that unless an "Israeli" apology happens, with the acceptance of the international inquiry's conclusion regarding the May 31 attack, relations will be broken.
In addition to breaking all diplomatic relations, while he was on board a plane on his way back to Turkey, Turkish Foreign Minister said that as a reaction to the flotilla raid, his country has closed all airspace to "Israeli" military flights.
Because some news published Turkey only disallowed the flight of only some airplanes in its airspace, Davutoglu confirmed that the decision includes all military planes, and this decided closure might later include civilian flights as well.
As a reaction to Turkey's request for an "Israeli" apology, AFP quoted Monday a senior "Israeli" official saying that ""Israel" will never be sorry for defending itself", claiming activists had weapons, while all investigations so far prove otherwise.
The "Israeli" brutal attack on the Turkish-led Freedom Flotilla resulted in the death of 9 Turkish activists, killing almost 60 others. This attack directly led Turkey to summon its ambassador from Tel Aviv, in addition to canceling three scheduled joint military maneuvers.
In recent talks between Turkey and "Israel" in Brussels, which were the first to occur after the flotilla attack, Ahmet Davutoglu clearly presented his country's position, and then concluded saying, "We will not wait to eternity for an "Israeli" answer".
Eternity seems too far to wait, that is why Turkey will do what's suitable for its local and diplomatic status, forcing its way in the world against the "Israeli" brutality or rather "stupidity".
