Sarkozy Wants UNIFIL Troops Spared if “Israel” attacks Lebanon

French President Nicolas Sarkozy recently asked "Israel" to ensure the French UNIFL contingent in Lebanon will remain neutral and unaffected in any conflict, especially if "Israel" decides to launch an attack in the South.
During their meeting in Paris last month, Sarkozy told Netanyahu he wants guarantees that "Israel" will not launch any attack against Lebanon before informing France ahead of time.
