A nongovernmental organization based in Britain revealed on Tuesday its intention to raise lawsuits against "Israel" on behalf of the Turkish families who lost their loved ones in the Zionist Freedom Flotilla attack.

Mary Nazzal-Batayneh, President of the UK-registered Palestine Legal Aid Fund's (PLAF) president said that it is going to initiate court action, AFP reported.

"It would as well represent the hundreds of activists who were subsequently arrested and subjected to violence," she added.

Batayneh said that the activists were abducted and imprisoned, many of whom were beaten and wounded and nearly all their belongings confiscated.

The NGO president indicated that the group employed six international lawyers, and will raise funds during this month.

The trial, according to Batayneh, should be held in Britain, according to the British legal system.

PLAF organization was previously working on raising lawsuits against the "Israeli" authorities, enterprises and organizations involved in Palestinian suffering.
