Iranian Ship Heads to Gaza, Another Takes Off Friday
"Radio Iran" reported on Monday that Tahran will be sending two aid ships to Gaza, adding that Iranian Prime Ministers prepare to leave on board of the ships that will deliver the aids through Rafah crossing.
In a report the radio station broadcasted, it revealed that the first ship has already took off Monday, while the second ship will be leaving on Friday.
The ships that are part of international attempts to break the Gaza siege are loaded with food, medications and medical equipments, constructive material, and toys for kids.
An official at Iran's Society for Defending Palestinians' Rights, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said, "Until the end of "Israel's" Gaza blockade, Iran will continue to ship aid."
Boroujerdi also stated that, "An Iranian PM delegation will go through Egypt to Gaza through Rafah path, pointing out that Egypt responded positively to this proposal.
Mahmoud Mozafar, Head of the IRCS' relief organization told IRNA that the second ship, that will include an Iranian medical team would be sent to Gaza from north of Iran via the country's border with Turkey and then will be shipped to Gaza through Istanbul.
Over 100,000 Iranians so far volunteered to break the siege on Gaza, which has been forced by the "Israelis" for almost three years.
Zionist sources revealed that occupation forces will prevent any Iranian ship from reaching Gaza port.
The sources stated that "Israel" would do that after communicating with Egypt.
"Israel" has attacked the Turkish-led Freedom Flotilla aid convoy to Gaza earlier last month, causing the death of 9 Turkish activists, violating international laws, and attacking in international waters.
