"Nobody Noticed 4 Palestinians Infiltrate IAF Base!"

The "Israeli" daily Haaretz reported what it called "a serious security breach" that occurred at the Nevatim Air Force Base over the weekend, when four Palestinians succeeded in entering the base without anyone noticing, and then failed to arouse the suspicions of any of the soldiers or officers they subsequently encountered.
The four, all from the area around Al-Khalil in the southern West Bank, were apparently seeking work on one of the base's construction projects.
According to Haaretz, the infiltrators managed to get by a variety of security measures, including fences and video cameras that supply real-time footage to the base's control room. Normally, the daily added, an infiltration would result in forces being summoned to the scene immediately, but this time, no forces were summoned, because no one noticed that an infiltration had occurred.
During the hour they roamed the base before being discovered, they had access to fighter jets, cargo planes, bombs and high-tech weapons. They also passed many soldiers and officers without arousing anyone's suspicions.
An army spokesperson confirmed the details of the incident, adding: "This incident will be investigated in depth by the air force, and lessons will be learned to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future."
