Al Saud’s Explicit Alliance with ’Israel’ Signals Arab Reality’s Deterioration

Palestinian strategic expert, retired General Youssef Sharkawi stressed that Saudi Arabia wouldn't have dared to accuse the resistant Hizbullah via the "Gulf Cooperation Council", the "Council of Arab Foreign Ministers" and lately the "Council of Foreign Ministers", unless this nation has deteriorated due to the regimes that are going in parallel with the Zionist-American project, atop of which is the Saudi regime.
In an interview with al-Ahed correspondent, Sharkawi further noted that Al Saud is not embarrassed to expose its relationship with the Zionist occupation entity, under the pretext of confronting what they refer to as the Persian extension or the Iranian power in the region.
Yet, the fact they are seeking to cover - the Saudis and their allies - is that the Islamic Republic is the main supporter of the resistance powers in Lebanon and Palestine, which eventually doesn't please "Israel".
The Palestinian General also warned from the danger of nominating Ahmad Abu al-Gait as a Secretary General for the Arab League, noting that this step, behind which Saudi Arabia is standing, is related to preparing the environment for more attacks on the resistance.
Sharkawi went on saying that: "What Saudi Arabia has done to let a person like Abu al-Gait reach such post, who threatened the besieged people of Gaza to break their legs once they think of escaping this imposed siege, and who witnessed the beginning of the 2008 aggression announced by the "Israeli" Foreign Minister at the time Tzipi Livni, and earlier supporting the "Israeli" July 2006 war on Lebanon, unmasks its ugly faces, and further asserts its insistence on defragmenting the Arab nation in favor of the supposed enemy of the nation, which is "Israel"."
"Saudi Arabia, via its aggressive stance against Hizbullah, and withdrawing the financial aid that was announced for the Lebanese Army, sends Lebanon, with all its popular components, a message that today it is Syria, and tomorrow it will be Lebanon, aslong which came Daesh's [the Arabic acronym for the Takfiri "ISIS" group] threat to the Lebanese Christians: they either convert to Islam or pay capitation," the retired General explained.
Finally, Sharkawi stressed that the climax of terrorism is what is currently going on as the Saudi-led coalition is killing the Yemeni people by fatal American weapons while this deaf world stands silently.
