For about three and half years, since the summer of 2012, Hizbullah has been actively involved on the Syrian ground. Therefore, "Israeli" intelligence officials pondered for quite some time how to assess the Syrian war's effect on Hizbullah.

’Israel’: Hizbullah A Strong Army in Every Respect!

In this context, Amos Harel wrote for Haaretz: Though at present the organization does not have planes or tanks of its own, in every other respect its capabilities are nearly equal to those of a mid-level army. It has about 45,000 fighters, including 21,000 standing forces, more than 100,000 increasingly accurate rockets and missiles, of which several thousand are mid- and long-range.

In the mid-1990s, when the fight against Hizbullah in the so-called security zone in southern Lebanon was escalating, it was the chief of staff, Amnon Lipkin-Shahak, who determined that the army had to treat Hizbullah as a guerilla organization rather than as "terrorists" or "terror cells."

However, referring to the war in Syria, the "Israeli" army is now coming to the recognition that its Lebanese rival has become an army in every respect.
Some couple of years ago, an article published in the military journal "Ma'arakhot," cited a Zionist military intelligence officer as outlining Hizbullah's possible intentions in another war with the Zionist entity as follows: a surprise attack along the border in which commando forces from the organization try to attack a community or a small military base with the aim of opening the fight with a perceived achievement, creating an impression "Israel" would have difficulty overcoming. This, according to the officer, is the real meaning of Hizbullah's Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's threats of "conquering the Galilee".

"The terrain along the border with Lebanon is mountainous and complicated. This topography affords the attacker significant ability to surprise, which almost eliminates the need to dig attack tunnels," the daily cautioned.
However, it has already been written so many times that currently Hizbullah does not have a motivation for war because Sayyed Nasrallah's mind "is thoroughly engaged elsewhere, in Syria."

Yet while this year the military intelligence assessment for the north holds that the risk of a Hizbullah-initiated war is low, it also raised to moderate likelihood the possibility that a war could break out as the result of a "miscalculation" between the sides.

The "Israeli" journalist further concluded that the Zionist army is preparing itself accordingly, from extensive engineering works along the border with the aim of impeding penetration by attacking forces, through tightened intelligence coverage of Hizbullah activities, to practice maneuvers.

Note to Israel...

As a nation, Israel, what you fail to understand and realize is this: Hezbollah is not only a resistance (army), but it is a way of life that was created because of you (Israel). Your numbers are off. Quadruple the number of fighters--it's more like 180,000, okay. Triple the number of rockets, it's more like 300,000. Hezbollah has enough rockets and missiles, that come next war, the sun will not shine over Israel. Also, don't worry Israel, Hezbollah will unveil all of your military plans and tactics come next war. Iron Dome will be useless. Your military will not be able to enter Lebanon. Your military ships will sink in the ocean. Your war planes will fall out of the sky. Your tanks will be rendered useless. Remember Wadi al-Hujeir valley? What happened in 2006, was just a small dose of what is to come.
