Supreme Leader Plants Two Trees in “Natural Resources and Tree-Planting” Week
Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran His Eminence Sayyed Ali Khamenei planted two trees today on the occasion of "Natural Resources and Tree-Planting" Week.
On this occasion, Sayyed Khamenei called on the importance of taking care of trees and green areas, for what they resemble of importance on the lives and safety of the human beings.
He also added that "tree-planting" day is one of Iran's blessed days, which had an impact on the people and officials to have them possess more concern over trees and environment.
His Eminence denounced the negligence of natural resources throughout the past years, adding that "at this present time, the people are conducting a more effective and importance role in reviving the green areas in the country".
"At the time when they are concerned with finding new green areas, they should monitor the forests, gardens, farms, and fertile lands", Sayyed Ali Khamenei further affirmed.
