The Bahraini opposition overseas called on the people of the world and the Islamic Nation to stand in solidarity with the Bahraini people on Friday the 8th of April in demonstrations under the slogan "Save the people of Bahrain".

This move comes as a commitment to the just demand of the Bahraini people's legitimate rights as well as in defense in face of injustice this people is being subjected to. The Bahraini opposition in a statement said that the free peoples of the world should do something about all what the Bahraini people has been facing whether violation of its dignities, repression, oppression, violence, and killing that reaches the extent of war crimes and constant intimidation.

"Today, before this historic and decisive moment, we reiterate our demand of all rights and political demands the Bahraini people insisted on. We consider that the authority has closed all doors before dialogue which we saw as a title to confiscate the gains of the revolution all the way from the beginning," the statement added, continuing "Nevertheless, we still assure and insist that political dialogue based on the correct principles and concepts is the path to realize the demands of the people and the country's stability. But this dialogue has one normal gateway which is stepping back from obstinacy and realizing the demands of the people."

The statement went on to say that the 14th of February 2011 was set to be the beginning of a new phase, only one of the phases through which the Bahraini people suffered for long due to the Bahraini authority's tyranny, lying, and deception in order to maintain its interests and greed, while the Bahraini people suffer only more oppression, humiliation, arrest, and violence and simultaneously demonstrated consecutive phases of Jihad and revolution.

The Bahraini opposition explained that the peaceful people is paying the price for its demand to political and social rights, which in first place are the natural rights any people should enjoy, reiterating that the people will not give up on its demands it has been calling for the past 50 days.

"The government launched attacks and an unprecedented barbaric assault on the Bahraini people while it is supposed to take care of its people and keep an eye on its rights and demands. The armies that were supposed to fight the Zionist enemy, attacked the Bahraini people instead, causing thousands of Bahrainis to fall as either martyrs, wounded, detained, or missing," the statement further elaborated.

The opposition statement pointed out that despite the huge pain the Bahraini people are going through due to the government's crackdowns on protestors, they are non-hesitant about defending their rights "Despite the bleeding wounds of this country and its people, be it killing, wounding, detaining, violating sanctities and respect, humiliating peaceful civilians and dividing the country, our people stood steadfast and rejected to kneel other than to Allah the almighty, and remained insistent on demanding their rights in such a way that they become real partners in running the country. More painful to the people was the tyranny and injustice portrayed in claims that the protests are sectarian, even though they were shot, beaten, and sometimes mutilated."

The statement further said "This trick was a failure and the people of the Arab and Islamic Worlds did not fall for it, nor did the free people of the world wherever they are. Our partners in this country cannot also be fooled by such deception made by the authority helped by the Sultans whether from inside the country or outside. Also the Bahraini opposition is confident that the Arab peoples are aware and honest, and know very well that the revolution in Bahrain is a revolution of justice, righteousness, and humanity, a revolution that does not differentiate between any of its citizens or categories, and is the farthest possible from being sectarian."

The statement ended "We show our gratitude and thanks to all those who stood beside us and supported us whether through media, or politically and morally. We are proud of such support and we call upon all countries and organizations as well as people who supported the tyrant and unjust authority violently suppressing its people to know they will soon change their stances when they realize how blood can triumph over the sword. We, as Opposition, renew our demands of legitimate rights and call on the disdainful people to surround its leadership in all the coming moves. Our proud and dear people should know that owing to their patience, endurance, steadfastness, tolerance, and strong faith as well as owing to the support of all the free peoples of the world, they will achieve their rights God Willing. We, as Opposition overseas, also assure that we will continue to support the people of Bahrain by all means possible and through all civilian ways, thanking all those supporting us."
