Responding to a question about moving Daesh terrorists and their families to the Syrian desert, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said: "Hezbollah’s letting numbers of Daesh members who are besieged by the operations axis in the Syrian territories to another axis in the same country is an operational tactic and doesn’t make any change in the strategy of the battle against terrorists.
He further noted that "The Islamic Republic of Iran and Syria support the measures taken by Hezbollah in cleaning Lebanon from the dirt of terrorist Daesh, and without Hezbollah’s ability, Lebanon would have been hosting Daesh terrorists from all over the world.
Shamkhani stressed that the Lebanese people and government owe the sacrifices offered by Hezbollah.
"The agreement in al-Qalamoun on the Syrian-Lebanese border took place in Aleppo where militants were allowed to be transferred to Idlib after taking their heavy weapons, and this will make no change in the will to crush terrorists," he added.
