Iran Urges End to «Israeli» Inhumane Efforts, Ready to Build Field Hospital for Attack Victims

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, in a message on Monday, called for efforts to stop the "Israeli" regime's anti-human activities in al-Aqsa Mosque.

"The unfortunate events in recent days in the al-Aqsa Mosque and violent Zionist acts that resulted in the martyrdom of four Palestinian citizens and injuries to over 400 of the main owners of the Palestinian territory, shook the hearts of every free man," Larijani wrote in his message adding: "These painful events, which are in line with the complete Jewishization of the Holy Quds and the Zionist regime's domination of East al-Quds [Jerusalem], once again revealed the inhumane character of this occupying regime to the world,".

He noted that the widespread and expected response of Muslim nations and expressing disgust and hatred over the shameless actions of the apartheid "Israeli" regime in preventing the entry of prayers to the al-Aqsa Mosque once again showed that the usurpation of the Palestinian land and the Holy Quds is a common pain for all Islamic Ummah, and the Islamic world, in spite of the political controversies and the clashes with Takfiri terrorism, consider a red line any abuses to the Mosque which is the ascension place of Prophet Muhammad [PBUH].

Larijani also underlined the joint responsibility of all parliaments, in particular the parliament of the Islamic countries, as well as international organizations and institutions in order to prevent the inhumane actions of the occupying regime of al-Quds.

Pointing to the statement of the 6th International Conference in support of the Palestinian Intifada, Larijani asked the secretariat of the conference to apply all parliamentary, governmental and popular capacities to stop the "Israeli" counter-humanitarian measures, including the prevention of the desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque and the killing of the oppressed Palestinian people.

In a related notions, Secretary General of the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned recent "Israeli" attacks against Muslims in the occupied territories and said Iran is prepared to launch a field hospital to treat injured Palestinians.

Speaking in a Sunday meeting with Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Tehran, Amir Abdollahian decried the "savage attacks" of the "Israeli" regime's occupation forces on al-Aqsa Mosque that have led to the killing and injuring of a large number of Palestinians.

"These acts by the Zionist regime, which are based on aggression and slaughter, will not remain unanswered," the official, who is also a special adviser to Iran's parliament speaker, warned.

He further emphasized that the Islamic Republic is ready to send medical aid, dispatch a team of experienced physicians and launch a makeshift hospital in the nearest possible place to the occupied territories to help hundreds of Palestinians injured in the "Israeli" attacks.

Abu Sharif, for his part, stressed the need for all Muslims around the world to boost unity and adopt a firm stance against the "Israeli" regime's crimes.

Several Palestinians had been killed and hundreds more injured in recent weeks amid mass protests over new "Israeli" security measures at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

At least 3,000 "Israeli" police and border police units had been deployed to the area, according to a police spokesman.

The "Israeli" entity tightened its grip on the compound after two security officers of the "Israeli" Occupation Forces [IOF] were killed in an alleged attack by three Palestinians, who were killed by Israeli police following the violence.

Over the past week, there had been daily demonstrations and clashes between IOF and Palestinians.
