Hezbollah Condemns Iraq Terrorist Bombing in Karbala, Musayyib

Hezbollah condemned the successive terrorist attacks targeting peaceful civilians across Iraq which targeted Karbala and Musayyib martyring and injuring dozens of people.

In its statement released Friday, Hezbollah asserted that "The criminal killing machine which has been annihilating innocents bears a terrorist ideology whose origin and funds are well known."

"The followers of this ideology are committing such crimes in the name of religion in a bid to implement the schemes of their regional and international masters," the group said, warning that such schemes aim at undermining stability in the region.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah called for a "firm stance to confront terrorism on the political, ideological and media levels, stressing that "covering up this criminal ideology, its followers and beneficiaries is no longer acceptable."

"Hezbollah condoles the Iraqi leadership and people particularly the martyrs' families, hoping a speedy recovery for the injured and perseverance over difficulties and strife for our nation," the group's statement concluded.
