A General in the Zionist navy reserve called on Sunday night for the resignation of navy chief Eliezer Marum due to the "Israeli" deadly attack against the aid carrying Freedom Flotilla. This comes on the eve of issuing the report of the assigned Zionist military probe, investigating the attack.

"Israeli" Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Zionist General, who was in charge of all the "Israeli" navy operations in the past saying, "This is not how a ship is taken under control."

In an indication to the navy attack against the flotilla, the General added, "Soldiers should not, for any reason break into a ship loaded with passengers."

The Zionist General held Navy chief Eliezer Marum responsible for the failure of the attack, clarifying that, and "even in absence of any personal deduction (in the probe's report), head of the navy should pay the price."

"Head of the navy should definitely pay the price, either by retiring, getting fired, or ending of state, he should not stay in his post while the whole "country" pays the price," he added.

The Zionist General considered that when the navy commandos attacked the aid carrying ship, "they had the desire to execute a heroic operation so they would be praised in the media, and by that they ignored the procedure the navy followed successfully 20 years ago."

"If the activists on board of the ship had different intentions, we would have ended up having deaths and abductions (among "Israeli" soldiers), this is how we should see things," he added.

He finally clarified that many navy officers feel they have failed and the head of the probe should assign a committee to come up with personal deductions regarding those who were responsible for the failure."
