In an attempt to silence Palestinian voice, the "Israeli" Occupation Forces stormed on Thursday night two Palestinian media agencies in al-Khalil [Hebron] and seized equipment.
Office manager of al-Quds TV station Ala Rimawi said "Israeli" forces broke into the station's al-Khalil office, seized the hard disc and six computers as well as other equipment.
A simultaneous raid was also carried out on a media company in al-Khalil that supplies information to another Palestinian broadcasting channel, al-Aqsa TV. Various items were also seized during the raid.
Forces also broke into the office of Ramsat for Media Services in al-Khalil and seized equipment.
According to Palestinian sources, computers and hard drives were among the items which were impounded from the second company, but the IOF said that it only confiscated memory cards and media content as part of an ongoing investigation into the two stations' activities in order to search for materials containing support for Hamas and allegedly inciting terror.
Broadcasting equipment, the IOF alleged, was left untouched.
The raid is the third or fourth to have taken place within the last two years on media stations and channels in the al-Khalil area.
