“Israel” Chickens out Ahead of Mughniyeh’s Second Anniversary

As the second anniversary of Hizbullah military leader Haj Imad Mughniyeh's martyrdom nears, fear stirs in the heart of "Israel" speculating scenarios for a vowed revenge.

Mughniyeh was assassinated in Damascus on February 12, 2008. Hizbullah held "Israel" responsible for the assassination and has vowed to avenge for his death.

The Jerusalem post reported that the "Israeli" defense ministry believes that the risk of an attack on an "Israeli" aircraft will escalate slightly over the next few weeks, ahead of the second assassination anniversary of Hizbullah commander Imad Mughniyeh.

"They are still trying very hard to avenge Mughniyeh's death," the newspaper quoted an "Israeli" official as saying. "Our assumption is that they will try to hit an Israeli target or airplane overseas."
The "Israeli" security agency, Shin Bet, is considering griping its teams of security guards stationed at Ben-Gurion Airport and on "Israeli" commercial flights, The Jerusalem Post said.

"There has always been close cooperation between us and other countries with regard to aviation and airport security," the newspaper quoted another official as saying.

Mughniyeh is considered a great resistance leader, for his life was full of Jihad, sacrifices and accomplishments lived. The martyr, may his soul rest in peace, had been a target for the "Israelis" for more than 20 years cite his accomplishments in defeating the "Israelis" especially his role in July war.
