Local Editor, 31-10-2009
A majority of Americans believe the US is headed down the wrong track, according to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll conducted Oct. 22-25.
Fifty-two percent say the country is on the wrong track compared to 36 percent who say it is headed in the right direction with 9 percent saying conditions are mixed and 3 percent undecided.
Dissatisfaction of Americans according to the poll is due to the economic situation in the country, the health care reform plan which they think is a bad idea, and the war on Afghanistan.
