Guantanamo to be shut down in January 2010

The American Base Guantanamo will be shut down on the date appointed by the American President Barack Obama in January 2010, said the American official Daniel Fred, who is in charge of the Guantanamo file.

Fred stated that the American President Obama will supervise shutting down the American Base and prison located in Cuba in person.

He said: "transferring Guantanamo prisoners to other countries is a complicated issue but we are sure that the right decisions and measures will be taken".
