In an interview with As-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper on Friday, Head of the Jewish sect in Lebanon Isaac Arazi told that all sects and parties, including Hizbullah, did not object to the synagogue's renovation in downtown Beirut.
Arazi added that the Lebanese Jewish community "has over 22,000 members," yet it is not participating in shaping the political process.
He also stressed that the Lebanese Jewish community "has nothing to do with "Israel.""
